SPERA Executive Named 2026 Menzies Harvard Scholar
SPERA congratulates Executive member Chris Ronan on being named a 2026 R.G. Menzies Harvard Scholar by the Harvard Club of Australia.
The Robert Gordon Menzies Scholarship to Harvard is one of Australia’s most prestigious national awards for postgraduate study in the United States. Inaugurated in 1967 by prominent Australian alumni of Harvard to honour the Australian statesman and longest-serving Prime Minister, the Menzies Scholarship grants have assisted more than ninety talented Australians to undertake post graduate study in a wide range of disciplines. Our winners this year are no exception.
Chris, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Study Hubs Australia, is one of just two scholars selected to receive this prestigious award and will undertake a Master of Public Administration at Harvard Kennedy School, with a strong focus on improving access to education for students in regional, rural and remote communities. Chris’s commitment to addressing educational inequity and expanding opportunities for rural learners aligns closely with SPERA’s mission, and we look forward to seeing the impact of his studies and leadership on the future of regional education in Australia.
