In 2022, 2023 and 2024 Taree Universities Campus has collaborated with businesses, TAFE and other learning and service organisations to present “CareerQuip” a one day event focused on highlighting future career and education pathways for local high school age students to broaden their horizons on what is possible. The community is at the centre of this event from the local Lions club running the BBQ, to the First Nations’ students dancing for the Welcome ceremony, to the local employers attending and promoting their job vacancies.
