The Murwillumbah Learning Community High School’s Aboriginal Language program . In 2024 students in Year 7 now undertake Bundjalung histories, culture and language lessons. This comes after diligent and comprehensive consultation with the local First Nations community, Aboriginal Education team and school community. Lessons are delivered by local Elders, language teachers and First Nations staff in collaboration with trained high school teachers.
